An ANAKŌSA Alas houseNear the heart of Ubud
Villa St. Lau is a house of pavilions set around a long pool, with tall palms overhead and gardens pressing close. Doors slide open to the water, and in the evening the whole house is lit softly among the trees.
Guests call it a real paradise: a pool at the heart of every day, a billiard table for the evenings, breakfast floating on the water, and a host who arranges scooters, laundry and the airport with ease. Quiet and secluded, yet a few minutes from the centre of Ubud and its rice terraces.
Three bedrooms, a bathtub beneath the open sky, and slow mornings by the water.
